Austenite Period Figure

William Wallace, a Scottish knight, became a central early figure in the wars to secure Scottish freedom from the English, becoming one of his country's greatest national heroes

More Info
Born circa 1270, near Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland, William Wallace was the son of a Scottish landowner. He spearheaded his country’s long charge against the English toward freedom, and his martyrdom paved the way for eventual success.

This bust is a new sculpture of the Scottish hero who to this day has a global following.

The base material is patinated bronze with an aged brass label to match the finish. The base is cut from polished and oiled Italian slate. It has been finished with a felt bottom to ensure that neither the bust nor the place where it is positioned will suffer any damage.

The label reads:

William Wallace

For the love of Freedom I Fought
For the love of Freedom I Died

The box and insert are hand made to mould around the bust and keep it safe in transport.
