Nefertiti, whose name means "a beautiful woman has come," was the queen of Egypt and wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten during the 14th century B.C. She and her husband established the cult of Aten, the sun god, and promoted Egyptian artwork that was radically different from its predecessors. A bust of Nefertiti is one of the most iconic symbols of Egypt.

"The Beautiful one has come"
Coloured Bronze

This is a coloured version of the Nefertiti bust, with an initial patina applied at the foundry. This is further enhanced by hand applying special coloured waxes to the still hot sculpture.

Coloured Bronze Jet Black

This is a special edition like, many others will follow. The Jet black is rubbed back carefully to expose the natural, unpatinated bronze, allowing it to subtly shape the contours of the sculpture.
